Sangria - Blanca

1/2 cup                                 Hot Water

1/2 cup                                 Sugar

1 (750mL) Bottle               Crisp White Wine

1/2 cup                                 Apricot Brandy

1                                              Vanilla Bean

1                                              Lime -- sliced into rounds

1                                              Orange -- sliced into rounds

1/2                                         Pineapple -- Fresh -cored, sliced and chunked

2 cups                                   Club Soda

As needed                            Cubed ice

Garnish                                Mint Sprigs -- Fresh

Garnish                                Raspberries -- Fresh

 

Dissolve sugar in hot water (simple syrup) inside a pitcher.   Add white wine, brandy, vanilla bean, lime, orange, and pineapple. Chill in the refrigerator for two hours.  Stir in club soda just prior to serving.

 

Pour into tall glasses filled with ice and garnish with mint sprigs and fresh raspberries.
