We are open Saturday and Sunday from 12-5 pm for Comparative Tastings.

June through October: 

• "Wine Down" Fridays - 6pm-9pm Wine by the glass and light appetizers
• "Saturday Sunsets" @ the PEAK - 6pm - 10pm - Live Music - Food (opt) - Great Wine

Pilot Peak Winery is located  near the towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City in Penn Valley, California.

Coming from the South on Hwy 80 - Take Hwy 49  North at Auburn   - Turn west on Hwy 20 towards Marysville/Yuba City.

Coming From the North on Hwy 80 - Take Hwy 20 (After Cisco Grove) towards Nevada City - Stay on Hwy 20 towards Marysville/Yuba City.

At the traffic light (approx. 5 miles down Hwy 20 after turning off Hwy 49)  - you will see signs for  Rough & Ready and Penn Valley - turn left on Penn Valley Drive  (a Shell gas station  will be on your right).

Continue through the stop sign (now you are on Spenceville Road).

Continue to a second stop sign (where Spenceville Rd crosses Indian Springs - aprrox. 2 miles).

Continue straight through this stop sign on Spencville Road (you should see winery sign on your right).  Our entrance is  .8 tenths of mile on the right .
