Why Two Labels?

That's a great question that we get asked a lot.   Have you ever heard about the "Label Wars"?

When we first started the winery - we thought we would be placing our "creations" into retail outlets  and grocery stores (as it turned out we couldn't due to demand and yearly "sell outs" of our inventory).

We wanted a label that would standout and "grab" your attention as you strolled past the shelves -  full of wines with many beautiful labels.   We wanted our wine to have a label that would make you pick up the bottle and read the information on the back label and consider it for  later enjoyment in your home or as a gift.  We wanted you to "stop" and take a peek at our "PEAK a Boo" wines.

Early on - we also were trying to make wines in different styles and thought we could use the labels to differentiate them for you as we believed (and still do) that wines have personalities just like people. Some mild and mellow - others are intense and bold. With all that said, Styles are still hard to assign to wine, not only because they are subjective, but because few wines fall into only one style.

So over the years, our wines have "blended" into very drinkable wines with some possessing more oak than others, some have a lighter weight and brightness and others providing the tannins, body and richness that make them so very special.   Each of the labesl offers varying styles of wines for your enjoyment.  Come and enjoy them with us!
